UI/UX Design
Created from a case study focusing on public transportation/safety within the heart of Baltimore City, this application was created to aid people with disabilities travel safely between locations by functioning as a multipurpose GPS. The applications used to create this application mockup were Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD.
This application allows the user to enter in their specific accommodations and plan a route based on their specific needs, weather they are disabled, temporarily injured, or out on the town. Handi-Cab hosts features that will allow the user to view a route before traveling, via video tutorial with capabilities that will also allow them to pause, play, rewind, and fast forward.
Additional features consist of a commenting feature that will allow users to rate their trip and advise other users/ travelers who look to travel in their tracks. In the event that you are not content with what the search provided, or the weather is not to your liking, we’ve partnered with Lyft to come assist you with your commute. Each driver has been certified and accustomed to helping those who require those accommodating features that they fill out in the beginning of the application.
The final display has been mocked up using a simple gradient and settle UI to create a brilliant and yet genuinely easy experience. Additional features were added later to where the user could also input his/her own observations during, or after they successfully reached their destination.
